Learning to play a sport
Learning to play a sport
Learning to play a sport is always easier in childhood. I
see this period as the time when it is easier to learn to play a sport, because
you can easily assimilate and you have more desire to try new things. I
remember as a child, that my friends, just like me, tried many new sports.
Between the age of six and fourteen, I tried swimming, trail, climbing,
dancing, gymnastics, cross-country skiing, track skiing, athletics and
handball. Until I definitely chose the one I liked the most. Thus, learning and
discovering a sport is often done in childhood, where it is easier.
Nevertheless, before making a final choice, he teaches
people to practice all these sports. Some are easier, especially when you learn
it as a child, and others a little more difficult. For example, in my case,
swimming has always been more difficult for me to practice, even when I learned
to do this sport, I never managed to swim well compared to others. So I think
everyone has the skills to succeed in learning a sport or not. We often hear that
the great champions already had facilities in the sports in which they later
succeed. There are these natural skills and the motivation to learn and train a
lot. As a result, everyone can learn a new sport, but will not necessarily be
able to become strong in it.
After all, although this learning often takes place as a
child, and success in a sport depends on natural abilities, there is one final
point: learning the "codes" in a sport. Indeed, learning to play a
sport also involves learning how to use the equipment, learning the rules of
the game, the positions or the appropriate clothing to practice this sport,
learning to listen to the advice and apply it properly, and also learning all
the values that the sport you learn requires and conveys. Finally, knowing
everything that is related and important in this sport will help us to learn to
practice it correctly.
