Secondly, I would also like to point out that since I have been living in Murcia, I have realized that I miss French food. It's one of the hardest things to live without. There are similar dishes or foods, but I don't find exactly the same flavours as in my French meals. There is a positive point is that here the fruits are very good, very diverse and cheap. But the negative point is that here it is still very hot in winter unlike at in my country (where there has already been snow for 1 week); therefore there is little traditional winter recipe similar as in my home. For example, in the French mountains in winter we eat "fondue", it is seasoned melted cheese in which we plunge pieces of bread planted at the end of a spade, it's very hot and very good. I can't wait to come home at Christmas to eat some.
It's a
complicated question, because I like a lot of things and my sweet tooth seems
to have no limits. I love eating, especially chocolate, sugar, and fruit. What
I like most of all is desserts. I like cookies, fruit salad, tiramisu,
brownies, pies, cakes, chocolate bread, etc... I could clearly eat only it. But
well, fortunately I manage to control my greediness to a minimum, so that my
calorie levels do not explode. I find it so sweet and comforting to eat a small
dessert, rather than bother with green beans or carrot soup. I think a lot of
people like to eat dessert like me or I like to think that to make me feel less
guilty. You have to admit, going into a bakery and smelling all these delicious
cupcakes, it's a wonderful feeling.
