III.17 Writing journal (The right age to get married)

     I’m not sure that there is a special age to get married, sincerely I believe that it depends a lot of the different situations of people. In first, I think that the age in which we get married should depend of our love situation. For me, it’s better to well-known our partner and from a long time to be sure of the solidity of our relationship. I would like to added too, that we should not get married too young on a whim, because often we believe that our first love story will persist for life, but we just lack perspective and maturity, and it’s not necessarily the case.

Secondly, I think that the place where we live have a big influence on this decision. Depending on the country, the culture or even our education, the age at which we want to marry changes a lot. For example, I learned that here in Spain people married much later than in my country (France). Moreover, I know that in some cultures, marriage is very quickly imposed on young adults, even teenagers, because it is a means of social advancement. This is the case in South Africa where marriage for a girl is possible from the age of 15, and worse in Saudi Arabia a boy can legally marry at the age of 10. Finally, I think that you shouldn't plan to get married before you reach the age of majority, because getting married too young is not a good solution, but on the other hand you shouldn't wait too long if you have already found the right person for you since several years.
