A hobby

    To start writing about this subject, I wanted to be sure of the meaning of the word hobby. A hobby is a pastime, an activity to which you devote yourself in your spare time. Once I assimilated this definition, I knew right away what I was going to talk about. As soon as I have some time for myself, I spend it on the athletics track, with my sneakers on. Of course I have several interests, but my favorite hobby is really running and the practice of athletics in general. I started nine years ago and it was immediately a crush. I can't do without it since then.

This activity is a real hobby, because it takes me a lot of time. In France, I had 5 training sessions of two to three hours a week. On days when I didn't have training I would run a little bit to let off steam. Not to mention the competitions that took place on Saturdays and Sundays every other week all year round. It is then a hobby that takes me a lot of time.

This hobby allowed me to flourish and had a very positive influence on me. Through this sport, I have met many people (including very close friends), I have been able to travel all over France and discover a lot about myself and the values of sport. Since I have been in Spain I have continued to practice this hobby, because even if my habits here have changed a lot, it is one of the only things I can continue to do here to please myself. Thus, this hobby takes up a lot of my time, but represents a real hobby and pleasure in my daily life.
