In today's society, it is becoming legitimate to ask whether space exploration is worthwhile. The most significant argument to prove that not, would be that these explorations require huge economic costs for few interesting results. Moreover, for many people, the emergency is on earth and we should invest all our resources in it and not waste them on space exploration. For example, these resources could be used for disease control, starvation control or health assistance to less developed countries. We must also not forget the security point of view, because there are space programs of some nations that are testing potential weapons there. For example, missiles or military satellites that are very dangerous, and moreover there have been strong space clashes between China and the United States in recent years, experts are afraid of a future space war. Thus it seems costly, wastefulness of ressources and dangerous to continue these explorations of space.
Nevertheless, the benefits of space exploration cannot be overlooked today. First, it is a necessity for scientists to collect data to better understand the universe and through their work we better understand ourselves what surrounds us. Nowadays, space engineers produce many exciting and especially useful discoveries. To give an example, thanks to them, satellite communication has developed and we can use television, radio, our phones, internet, etc.... After that, there is also an advantage to space exploration, which promotes cooperation between different nations on the subject. For example, for the creation and development of space stations. So in terms of knowledge, understanding of our environment, technological development, or strengthening international relations, the development of space exploration remains crucial.
